Integral analysis of war and peace in Europe
June 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm UTC+0

As the global order fractures and the balance of power shifts, many people sense that something fundamental is changing — not just politically, but at the level of how we understand the world itself. In this salon, we invite you to explore the deep dynamics behind current world affairs through the lenses of Spiral Dynamics and Integral Theory.
Valerii Pekar, a thought leader in the Ukrainian civic society, will examine how humanity is navigating a global transition — a shift from a world governed by shared rules to one increasingly dominated by force and fragmentation. The war in Ukraine, far from being a regional conflict, reveals the cracks in a fading world order and the competing visions for what comes next.
We will explore three central themes: the decline of American-led multilateralism and the rise of “brokenism”; the tension between global challenges and local responses in shaping future security, specifically for Europe; and the potential — and limits — of creating sustainable peace in Europe, in a world facing resource exhaustion, technological disruption, and social fragmentation.
This salon is for those who want to move beyond surface-level analysis and understand the underlying value systems and evolutionary forces shaping this critical moment in history.
Knowledge of Spiral Dynamics is required to attend this salon. You can obtain a basic understanding of this model by watching this 45-minute online course. The salon lasts about 2 hours. First Valerii presents, then there is time to reflect in small groups and we end with a plenary Q and A session. The salon takes place on June 18th, at 18:00 London/GMT, 19:00 CET, 20:00 Kyiv/EEST, 13:00 New York/EDT and 10:00 California/PDT. About Valerii Pekar: He is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, lecturer, and futurist specializing in systemic change, leadership, and societal transformation. He is a co-founder of the Nova Kraina Civic Platform and teaches at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
