Application of Spiral Dynamics in Spiritual Leadership and Community
July 16 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm BST

As part of our ongoing series exploring how Spiral Dynamics can be applied in different contexts, we are pleased to welcome Jim Lockard for a special Salon on the intersection of SD and spiritual leadership.
Jim Lockard has been certified in Spiral Dynamics Levels 1 and 2 since 2003. Trained by Chris Cowan and Natasha Todorovic, he has remained an active voice in the SD community for over two decades. An ordained minister and longtime leader within Centers for Spiritual Living, Jim brings rich insights into how Spiral Dynamics can support spiritual communities and deepen leadership practices. Jim’s experience and presentation have the context of spiritual community. The principles and SD thinking are applicable to other groups and collective ventures and directly relevant to all of us.
Jim is the author of two books where SD plays a significant role: Creating the Beloved Community and Being the Beloved Community.
In this session, Jim will share key learnings from his practical application of the model, drawing on his personal experiences and work in both local and international contexts. Following a 45-minute presentation, participants will engage in 30-minute breakout discussions, with a final 15 minutes of shared reflections and Q&A.
We invite you to join us in this conversation about how vertical development and value systems can inform the creation of more conscious, inclusive, and purpose-driven communities.
“Our goal is to create a beloved community, and this will require a qualitative change in our souls as well as a quantitative change in our lives.”
— Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The salon takes place on July 16th, at 18:00 London/GMT, 19:00 CET, 20:00 Kyiv/EEST, 13:00 New York/EDT and 10:00 California/PDT.
